I found a photo on the Internet a few years ago, and stored it hoping to go see it with my own eyes one day. The day had finally come, we were going to the Cinque Terre in Italy!
We arrived on the bus close by and then took a train to the main beach. What is delicious about this area, is that it's the home of Pesto! Pesto pizza and pasta can be found down all the streets, as well as lots of different olive oils. We started off the day soaking up the sun on the free beach commonly known as "The Giant Beach" for its carved statue in the rocks. There is also a huge rock in the middle of the sea, and we all took a jump off of it - with the exception of Bruce who probably jumped off 50 times!
We then took a ferry that went through all the Cinque Terre towns, and we got to take photos of the colorful houses on the edge of the sea. It was breathtaking! We were all exhausted by the time we reached the last town, and so Pino (our bus driver) came to pick us up and we headed to the hotel. We stayed in a little town close by for the night, but due to an earth quake that took place that day there was not much to do. We had pesto lasagne for dinner, and then got an early night. It was our last night in Italy.

Pisa:
On the way to France, we stopped in Pisa to get a few photos of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
